Our new CD, Migration Road, is back from being pressed and available online (see our store page).  The CD will also be available at upcoming events.   Cris also has a biography that has been released by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press; The Badger Biography Series.  The biography is titled: "Cris Plata: From Fields to Stage/Del Campo al Escenario" and is written by Maia A. Surdam.  Check out the link to the right for more info.


Mark your calendars and come out to the following gigs.

 

Sunday, June 3rd:  The Cris Plata Trio will be headlining on the acoustic Chicory Stage at the "Pursuit of Happiness" festival, McPike Park, 202 Ingersoll St., Madison, WI at 6:00 p.m.  Cris will also be master of ceremonies for the Chicory Stage.


Tuesday, July 24th:  The big band will be performing at the Black Earth Concert series, Black Earth Veterans Memorial Park, 1215 Mills St., Black Earth, WI.  Concert starts at 6:30 p.m.  Food and drinks are available at the shelter.


Saturday, August 11th: The Four Piece band is back at our favorite place for a summer show. The Paoli School House has great food, adult drinks and a beautiful outdoor stage.  We are scheduled to play from 6 to 8 p.m.  The address is: 6857 Paoli Rd., Paoli, WI.  


Saturday, August 18th:   The Cris Plata trio has been invited to play at the Eken Park Festival, 2407 Coolidge St., Madison, WI.  More info to follow. 


Saturday, September 15th:  The Cris Plata trio will be performing at this year's McFarland Family Festival, McFarland, WI at 5 p.m.     More info to follow.
