Cris also has a biography that has been released by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press; The Badger Biography Series. The biography is titled: "Cris Plata: From Fields to Stage/Del Campo al Escenario" and is written by Maia A. Surdam. Check out the link to the right for more info.

Thursday, Feb. 20th: No F35's Rally. This is a rally for the benefit of Safe Skies/Clean Water Coalition. Music by Cris and Ann Plata and the Getaway Drivers at the Bos Meadery, 849 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI. Show is from 7 to 10 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 29th: International Festival at the Overture Center, 201 State St., Madison, WI. We are performing as a trio at 12:25 p.m. on the Overture Hall main lobby stage. Be sure to come for all of the performances (10 to 5) celebrating the rich cultural heritage within our community. Admission is free.
Friday, Mar. 6th: Chief's Tavern, 300 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison, WI. Cris and Ann Plata along with Tom Dehlinger and Frankie Lee will be performing from 6:30 to 9:30.
Sunday, June 21st: The Pursuit of Happiness Festival at the Milton McPike Park (between East Washington and Williamson St in Madison, WI). Cris will be the MC on the Chicory stage AND will be performing with Extra Hot later in the day. More info to follow.
Saturday, Aug. 15th: The Paoli Schoolhouse American Bistro Concert Series. The Cris Plata four piece band will be performing outside from 6 to 8 p.m. If inclement weather is threatening please call 608-848-6261 for concert information or cancellation. The Schoolhouse is located at 6857 Paoli Rd., Paoli, WI.
